Data Migration & Archiving Delivery Lead (LMS / GxP Systems)

Location: Lisbon, hybrid. Candidates must have an existing legal right to work in the European Union.

Salary: EUR 4,620–5,670 monthly under a B2B arrangement, or EUR 2,450–2,750 net monthly under a permanent contract.

What you will do

• Develop and execute the Data Migration & Archiving workstream plan within the overall technology delivery schedule.
• Lead daily delivery activities and coordinate specialists, implementation partners, and third-party suppliers.
• Track milestones, dependencies, risks, and issues; provide status reporting and escalate when needed.
• Define migration activities including source assessment, profiling, mapping, transformation, reconciliation, data cleansing, testing, and validation.
• Lead migration rehearsals, assess readiness, and coordinate remediation before production deployment.
• Establish compliant archiving strategies for non-migrated records and apply AI, automation, and analytics to improve profiling, mapping, and reconciliation.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience leading enterprise data migration and archiving initiatives in complex SaaS environments.
• Proven experience delivering GxP-regulated systems, with focus on data integrity, traceability, and validation.
• Strong understanding of records retention, archiving, legal hold, and regulated record requirements.
• Experience coordinating multidisciplinary teams including data analysts, engineers, legal specialists, and third-party suppliers.
• Deep knowledge of data quality, reconciliation, exception management, and control frameworks.
• Practical understanding of automation and AI techniques for data profiling, cleansing, and reconciliation.
• Fluent English and fluent Portuguese.
• Existing legal right to work in the European Union.

Nice to have

• Experience with Cornerstone, Saba, or comparable LMS data migration projects.
• Knowledge of enterprise archiving platforms and APIs.
• Experience in regulated environments such as life sciences or pharmaceuticals.
• Relevant certifications in data management, migration, or delivery.
