Machine Learning Engineer I (AI)

What you will do

• Design, build, and optimize intelligent systems across the full lifecycle, from raw data to deployed models and compound AI systems.
• Apply machine learning, deep learning, generative AI, statistical modeling, and data science methods to practical business problems.
• Manipulate large datasets to generate business insights and drive actionable solutions.
• Structure problems, develop analyses and ML models, and communicate complex data science topics clearly to partners and senior leadership.
• Collaborate with a global team across different continents to achieve project goals.

Requirements

• At least 2 years of experience, preferably with a master’s degree or equivalent.
• Knowledge of AI techniques and strong understanding of statistical concepts and methods.
• Understanding of LLMs, guardrails, RAG, and agentic AI.
• Strong problem-solving abilities and an ability to identify patterns and insights in structured and unstructured data.
• Hands-on Python experience.
• Familiarity with machine learning libraries and frameworks including scikit-learn, Hugging Face, PyTorch, and TensorFlow.
• Familiarity with MLOps concepts, SQL, and PySpark.

Nice to have

• Experience with MLFlow, AWS SageMaker, and Bedrock.
• Experience with feature stores, machine learning models as a service, and monitoring dashboards.
• Infrastructure knowledge including AWS and Kubernetes, together with cost awareness.
