TAM Architect (ClickHouse)

Location: Remote, based in Israel; travel to customer sites within Israel and throughout EMEA is required for up to 35% of the time.

What you will do

• Manage a regular cadence with 4–8 strategic enterprise accounts, including quarterly health checks and business reviews, with onsite engagement where useful.
• Lead customer onboarding decisions covering schema and data modeling, table engines, ingestion, migration, and query design.
• Maintain customer performance and cost efficiency as deployments grow, and identify new ClickHouse use cases.
• Handle ad hoc support cases and own account escalations, including case reviews and collaboration with L3 Engine.
• Partner with Solutions Architects and Consulting Engineers on new use cases, proofs of concept, and hands-on projects.
• Document configurations, create knowledge base articles, and develop reference architectures.

Requirements

• 5+ years of hands-on, customer-facing technical experience after the sale, in a role such as TAM, Solutions Architect, Professional Services, or Senior Support.
• Specialist expertise in data modeling, query performance, and integration with distributed or analytical databases.
• Hands-on SQL experience, including writing complex queries from scratch and tuning and debugging them independently.
• Experience owning a small portfolio of high-touch enterprise accounts and understanding each customer's architecture in depth.
• Hands-on experience with AWS, GCP, and/or Azure, plus working knowledge of Kubernetes.
• Ability to explain technical trade-offs clearly to engineers and executives.
• Fluent English and Hebrew.
• Willingness to travel to customer sites within Israel and throughout EMEA for up to 35% of the time.
• Availability for an on-call rotation of approximately one week per quarter.

Nice to have

• Experience with ClickHouse or analytical databases such as Snowflake, BigQuery, Redshift, or Druid.
• Involvement in open source as a user, contributor, or community member.

Hiring process
