Czech Financial Translator (English to Czech and vice versa)

Location: Dublin, Ireland; hybrid work with 4 days in the office at 91/92 North Wall Quay.

What you will do

• Translate account applications and client account interfaces from English to Czech and from Czech to English.
• Handle occasional legal and regulatory translations.
• Maintain glossaries and translation memories.
• Proofread and edit existing translations as part of quality assurance.
• Process documents and deliver accurate work within tight deadlines.

Requirements

• Native Czech speaker with proficient English.
• BA or MA degree in Translation or a related discipline.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Daily experience operating CAT tools is required; configuration and advanced use are advantageous.
• At least 3 years of relevant experience with a financial institution or translating finance-related content.
• Knowledge of basic trading terms and familiarity with technical and marketing translation.
• Proven time-management and organisational skills.
• Ability to work efficiently and independently under tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment while collaborating with a team.
• Self-confident, open, and flexible personality.

Nice to have

• Experience using AI technology as an auxiliary function for translation.
• CAT tool configuration and advanced-use experience.
