Trade and Logistics Specialist

What you will do

• Coordinate and oversee import and export operations, including compliant trade-data exchange with customs brokers and other stakeholders.
• Develop, maintain, and analyze trade and customs reports, ensuring data accuracy, regulatory compliance, timely reporting, and KPI visibility.
• Manage transportation planning and optimize logistics-resource utilization for cost-efficient, service-driven freight movements.
• Provide trade and logistics guidance to hirify.global businesses and support operational excellence and continuous improvement.
• Validate LSP invoices and manage freight costs in line with contracts, purchasing policies, and commercial terms.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives across trade and logistics processes.

Requirements

• BSc or MSc degree in a relevant field such as industrial management or commercial studies.
• Extensive experience with SAP, GTS, TMS platforms, and MS Office.
• Extensive knowledge of trade and logistics regulations.
• Fluency in Finnish and English, both written and spoken.
• Team-player attitude, good communication and collaboration skills, and a customer-oriented approach.

Nice to have

• Experience in transport management or freight forwarding.
