Sportsbook - Frontend Engineering Team Lead (Angular)

Location: Budapest, Hungary; hybrid model with 3 days in the office and 2 days from home.

What you will do

• Support the Engineering Manager across development, quality assurance, and product management.
• Lead engineers, developers, designers, and other team members toward successful project delivery and rollout.
• Work closely with team members and stakeholders while maintaining focus on business goals.
• Manage direct reports through vacation planning, regular one-to-one meetings, coaching, and development support in collaboration with HR.
• Motivate the team, support continuous improvement, and help improve team performance.

Requirements

• Development background building highly scalable, containerized services and applications.
• Strong preference for experience with Angular and a good understanding of modern web technologies, including JavaScript and TypeScript.
• Familiarity with .NET Core, C#, RabbitMQ messaging systems, Redis in-memory databases, and MS SQL.
• Deep understanding of and interest in lean and agile principles for product development.
• Demonstrated ability to build effective teams, motivate, direct, and coach staff.
• Strong people-management and leadership skills.
