Software Engineer (DeFi / Intents)

About the company and role

Proprietary trading team focused on HFT and algorithmic trading across CeFi and DeFi markets. The team is expanding its DeFi business and is looking for a software engineer to develop and improve DeFi execution infrastructure.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain DeFi intent-based execution systems.
• Build backend services and integrations with DeFi protocols.
• Improve system performance, reliability and operational robustness.
• Own engineering components and deliver solutions to production.

Requirements

• Hands-on experience developing or integrating DeFi intent-based protocols, solvers or intent execution infrastructure (mandatory).
• Strong Python skills.
• Experience building and supporting production systems in DeFi.
• Experience with EVM networks and DeFi protocols.
• Ability to independently own production components and explain technical decisions.
• As a guideline, the team looks for approximately one year or more of practical work with intents protocols. Depth of contribution matters more than total years of experience.

Nice to have

• Rust experience.
• Experience with low-latency trading systems.

Team and working conditions

Lean, technically strong team with an AI-first approach; direct collaboration with the technical lead and traders. High autonomy and ownership; no direct reports at the start.

Fully remote, full-time, flexible schedule with agreed overlap for collaboration.

Preferred time zones: UTC+2 to UTC+4; other locations subject to contracting feasibility.

English sufficient for technical documentation and written communication; spoken English is not required.
