IT Operations Specialist (Banking)

Location: Hybrid, working from the Tbilisi office, Georgia

What you will do

• Source, compare, and order hardware, software, and licenses within budget and internal policies.
• Create, configure, and remove employee accounts, access rights, and devices during onboarding and offboarding.
• Set up, troubleshoot, repair, and track laptops, monitors, printers, phones, and other office equipment.
• Maintain accurate inventories of IT assets and licenses.
• Provide first-line IT support and escalate issues to vendors when needed.
• Coordinate with Security and other teams to align IT processes with banking standards.

Requirements

• At least 2 years of experience in IT operations, IT support, or a similar role.
• Fluent written and spoken English.
• Hands-on experience setting up, maintaining, and troubleshooting hardware.
• Experience with user account and access management.
• Organized, reliable, and able to manage multiple requests simultaneously.
• Must work full-time from the Tbilisi office and must not hold another job alongside this position.

Nice to have

• Experience in a bank or another financial institution.
• Familiarity with IT security practices in a regulated environment.
