Business Systems Analyst Co-op (Winter 2027), Capital Markets Technology

Location: Toronto, ON; hybrid work arrangement with 1–3 days per week on-site and the remaining days remote. Candidates must be legally eligible to work at the specified location and, where applicable, hold a valid work or study permit.

What you will do

• Work closely with Business Partners to formulate complex business requirements and participate in solution design discussions.
• Support the design and implementation of large-scale technology projects and initiatives.
• Contribute to complex projects delivering strategic solutions aligned with the enterprise architecture roadmap.
• Build relationships with Business Partners, colleagues, and managers to support effective partnerships and cooperative learning.
• Research, interpret, assess, and communicate ideas and opinions related to business and technology solutions.

Requirements

• Currently enrolled in post-secondary education and returning to full-time studies. Enrollment in a registered Co-op program is not required.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to demonstrate research, interpretation, and assessment skills when articulating ideas and opinions.
• Strong relationship-building, collaboration, and teamwork skills.
• Curiosity, willingness to learn, and motivation to grow knowledge.
• Critical thinking, attention to detail, decision-making, and ability to investigate complex problems and interpret information.
• Ability to adapt thinking and working methods to support change and deliver results.

Hiring process

• Applications are reviewed in October, interviews take place in October and November, and offers are made in November.
