Development Engineer I MXT (SAP ABAP)

What you will do

• Design, code, debug, test, and maintain software applications and automation solutions.
• Deliver low-to-medium complexity development tasks under direct supervision and established software engineering practices.
• Study information needs, systems flow, data usage, and work processes to develop effective solutions.
• Perform unit and integration testing, troubleshoot defects, improve existing codebases, and participate in peer reviews.
• Collaborate with product managers, designers, engineers, stakeholders, customers, and end-users to define requirements and deliver features.
• Write technical documentation, participate in planning and estimation, manage deadlines, research technologies, and improve development processes.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Systems, a quantitative or engineering field, or relevant experience.
• Around one year of relevant or practical experience.
• Proficiency in at least one programming language or software tool.
• Knowledge of front-end and/or back-end application development.
• Ability to analyze technical requirements and translate business needs into effective software solutions.
• Technical writing, diagramming, and technical, business, or data analysis skills.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, collaboration, teamwork, adaptability, attention to detail, and time-management skills.
• Ability to participate in collaborative meetings, receive guidance, acquire knowledge through on-the-job training, and follow standard techniques and procedures.
• Ability to perform the physical requirements of the job with or without reasonable accommodation.

Nice to have

• SAP development experience, preferably SAP ABAP.
