Property Facilities Underwriting Coordinator I (Property Insurance)

Location: Mexico City, Mexico. The role supports the US North America market.

What you will do

• Review bordereaux, portfolio reports, and supporting information for completeness, accuracy, consistency, and alignment with contractual requirements.
• Identify data anomalies, reporting gaps, portfolio trends, and documentation issues; provide findings and recommendations to underwriters.
• Communicate with brokers and clients to obtain information, clarify requirements, and resolve data or documentation issues.
• Support facility submissions, risk clearance, compliance, binding, documentation, endorsements, and post-bind activities.
• Maintain accurate underwriting records and complete documentation in designated systems.
• Analyze portfolio information and prepare summaries and reports using Excel and Power BI while collaborating with Contracts, Technical Accounting, Claims, and Business Operations.

Requirements

• University degree; financial services, insurance, risk management, business, accounting, or a related field is preferred.
• High proficiency in English, written and verbal.
• Relevant experience in insurance operations, underwriting support, business operations, data analysis, or a related environment.
• Strong Excel skills, including analyzing, reconciling, filtering, and summarizing data.
• Ability to understand contract language and apply requirements consistently.
• Strong analytical thinking, attention to detail, organization, and follow-through.
• Professional communication skills and confidence working with brokers, clients, underwriters, and internal partners.
• Initiative, ownership, problem-solving ability, and willingness to question processes constructively.

Nice to have

• Experience supporting insurance or reinsurance facilities.
• Experience reviewing bordereaux, portfolio reports, premium information, or other structured insurance data.
• Experience with Power BI or similar business-intelligence and reporting tools.
• Knowledge of Property insurance or reinsurance coverage terms, policy forms, and underwriting processes.
• Experience working across multiple teams and managing recurring deadlines.
• Interest in process improvement, automation, and strengthening operational controls.
