Sr. SAP Basis Administrator (SAP S/4HANA)

Location: Hybrid in Cartago, Costa Rica

What you will do

• Maintain the stability, security, performance, and availability of SAP S/4HANA, SAP HANA, and related cloud environments.
• Provide technical leadership for SAP system administration, monitoring, maintenance, upgrades, integrations, and operational support.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive continuous improvement, compliance, and business continuity across the SAP landscape.
• Support reliable and scalable enterprise SAP operations in Costa Rica.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information systems, engineering, or a related field.
• 8+ years of SAP Basis experience.
• Strong hands-on experience supporting SAP S/4HANA and SAP HANA production environments.
• Experience in medical devices, pharmaceutical, biotechnology, or another regulated industry.
• Strong troubleshooting, documentation, analytical, and problem-solving skills, with a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail.
• Advanced proficiency in English.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

Nice to have

• SAP Basis, SAP S/4HANA, or SAP Business Technology Platform certification.
