Senior Manager, Technology Operations - WFS Strategy & Analytics

Location: Bentonville, Arkansas, United States, with an additional location in Hoboken, New Jersey; onsite home office role.

Annual salary: $90,000–$180,000 in Bentonville or $108,000–$216,000 in Hoboken. Additional annual or quarterly performance bonuses and possible stock compensation.

What you will do

• Own ambiguous, high-impact Marketplace post-purchase business problems from initial questions through recommendations and execution.
• Develop hypotheses and analytical frameworks for structured, testable analyses.
• Launch new product features and capabilities.
• Use large datasets to identify trends, root causes, behavioral segments, opportunities, and tradeoffs.
• Write SQL and independently investigate business questions.
• Build financial, operational, customer, and seller impact cases and partner with Product, Operations, Finance, Data Science, Engineering, and analytics teams to turn insights into product, policy, and process changes.

Requirements

• Strong structured problem-solving and analytical skills, including recognizing patterns, testing hypotheses, and distinguishing correlation from meaningful business drivers.
• Working proficiency in SQL and the ability to independently analyze large datasets.
• Strong business judgment and the ability to connect analytical findings to customer, operational, and financial outcomes.
• Ability to move between detailed analysis and the broader business perspective.
• Excellent communication skills, including synthesizing complex work into concise recommendations for executive audiences.
• Track record of cross-functional collaboration and influencing teams without direct authority.
• Either a bachelor's degree in computer science, management information systems, industrial engineering, engineering management, business, information systems, project or program management, information technology, finance, management, or a related area plus 5 years of experience in project management, program management, program operations, or a related area; or 7 years of experience in those areas.
• 2 years of supervisory experience.

Nice to have

• Experience with visualization or analytical tools.
• Master's degree in a listed or related field plus 4 years of experience in project management, program management, program operations, or a related area.
• Background creating inclusive digital experiences and knowledge of WCAG 2.2 AA, assistive technologies, and digital accessibility best practices.
