Sr Manufacturing Process Engineer (Semiconductor)

Location: Farmers Branch, TX, United States; regular day shift.

What you will do

• Own and optimize assembly and electrical test equipment used to manufacture probe cards, including alignment stations, adhesive and epoxy dispense systems, curing ovens, bonders, electrical test stands and handlers, and laser cutting equipment.
• Author and update standard work, equipment qualification, operation, and maintenance instructions.
• Troubleshoot equipment, fixtures, sensors, and PLC/HMI software using 5 Whys, Ishikawa, Pareto analysis, and fault isolation; implement containment and CAPA.
• Improve equipment uptime, yield, first-pass yield, cycle time, and throughput through process-window optimization, automation, poke-yoke fixtures, recipe optimization, and error-proofing.
• Participate in DOE and IQ/OQ/PQ qualification activities, maintain equipment history logs, calibration certificates, change controls, risk assessments, and PFMEA updates.
• Ensure EHS compliance and train operators and technicians on safe operation, preventive checks, and basic troubleshooting.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree and at least 2 years of related experience, or an advanced degree without experience, or equivalent work experience.
• Experience with computerized maintenance management systems, electrical testing equipment, ESD control, HMI software, and reading schematics.
• Knowledge of IQ/OQ/PQ, measurement systems analysis, metrology, precision alignment, SPC charts, and PFMEA.
• Experience with metal bonding, robotics, vendor management, and structured manufacturing process improvement.
• Knowledge of Python programming and SQL.
• Ability to work with adhesives and solvents and follow LOTO, machine guarding, ergonomics, and other EHS requirements.
