Senior Consultant, Offensive Security, Proactive Security (Unit 42)

Location: Remote, limited to São Paulo, Brazil or Mexico City, Mexico

What you will do

• Conduct comprehensive network, web application, cloud, and mobile penetration tests to identify and exploit vulnerabilities and provide practical remediation guidance.
• Develop and maintain custom scripts, tools, and methodologies to automate and streamline offensive security engagements.
• Create detailed engagement reports covering testing methods, findings, and actionable recommendations for technical and executive audiences.
• Scope client engagements, explain penetration testing approaches, and align objectives and deliverables with client security goals.
• Perform threat hunting and compromise assessments to identify active or dormant indicators of compromise using advanced security tooling.
• Conduct cyber risk assessments using NIST CSF, ISO 27001, and CIS Top 20, and provide forward-looking recommendations for data protection and incident response.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Security, Computer Science, Cyber Security, or equivalent professional experience.
• 4+ years of professional information security experience focused on penetration testing, vulnerability assessments, or red teaming.
• Hands-on experience with Metasploit, Burp Suite Pro, Nessus, or Cobalt Strike.
• Proficiency in scripting or programming with at least one of Python, PowerShell, Bash, or Ruby.
• Strong knowledge of network protocols, modern operating systems including Windows and Linux, and cloud environments including AWS, Azure, or GCP.

• OSCP, OSCE, GPEN, GWAPT, or GXPN certification.
• Experience developing custom exploits and tools beyond automated frameworks.
