Senior Red Team Analyst (Fintech)

Location: Remote in Brazil; occasional presence at a hirify.global office may be required with scheduled notice.

What you will do

• Conduct penetration tests and security assessments across APIs, web applications, cloud environments, microservices, and distributed systems.
• Identify vulnerabilities, assess risks, document findings, and provide remediation guidance.
• Develop security automation, scripting tools, and workflows that improve assessment efficiency and scalability.
• Collaborate with engineering and cybersecurity teams to strengthen the secure development lifecycle.
• Perform AI-assisted security analysis, threat research, and offensive security activities.
• Maintain security procedures and documentation while supporting PCI DSS and ISO 27001 compliance.

Requirements

• 5+ years of relevant experience with a Bachelor's degree, 2+ years with an advanced degree, or a PhD with no required prior experience.
• At least 3 years of experience in offensive security, penetration testing, or vulnerability assessment.
• B1 English level for conversation.
• Experience collaborating with development and cybersecurity teams to communicate and remediate security findings.
• Knowledge of application security risks across APIs, microservices, distributed systems, OWASP Top 10, NIST SP 800-115, AWS, and cloud environments.
• Basic knowledge of PCI DSS and experience working in regulated environments.

• Experience supporting mission-critical systems in the financial services industry.
• Familiarity with ISO 27001 controls and audit requirements.
• Strong technical documentation, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
