EN/PT Content Writer (iGaming)

Location: Remote, Maputo, Mozambique

Content production is delivered through a recruiting partner on behalf of a local client, supported by a professional network operating across more than 10 countries.

What you will do

• Translate and adapt English and group content into Portuguese for websites, apps, terms and conditions, bonus terms, banners, SMS, push notifications, email, and social media.
• Localize football references, currency, payment methods, and cultural context for the Mozambique audience.
• Proofread and edit content for spelling, grammar, tone, accuracy, consistency, amounts, odds, dates, and promotional terms; maintain a Mozambique style guide and glossary.
• Write original copy for campaigns, promotions, sports content, match previews, and landing pages in line with the brand voice.
• Apply 18+ and Responsible Gaming messaging, avoid misleading claims or appeals to minors, and obtain compliance sign-off for promotional content.
• Coordinate with Marketing, CRM, Customer Support, Product, Design, VIP, Payments, and other departments; provide localized scripts and FAQs for support teams.

Requirements

• Diploma or bachelor's degree in Communications, Marketing, Journalism, English, Public Relations, or a related field.
• Previous experience in content writing, copywriting, digital marketing, communications, or a similar role, including 3+ years of experience in a similar position.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with strong grammar, proofreading, editing, and attention-to-detail abilities.
• Ability to write engaging content for different audiences and platforms.
• Good understanding of social media, digital marketing, and online advertising.
• Ability to research topics and turn information into clear and engaging content.
• Strong creativity and ability to develop new content ideas.
• Ability to manage multiple assignments and meet deadlines.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with content management systems, social media platforms, and basic digital marketing tools.
• Experience in iGaming or a similar industry.
