Privacy Officer

Location: Billund, Denmark. Hybrid working with the option to work from home up to two days per week; the workplace is the office, store or factory specified in the advert.

What you will do

• Provide practical privacy and data protection advice across the organisation, translating legal requirements into clear guidance, templates and standards.
• Support privacy assessments, privacy incidents, risk assessments and internal enquiries involving employee data, digital tools and new legal requirements.
• Monitor privacy and digital regulation developments and assess their practical impact.
• Create or improve guidelines and standards within an agreed area.
• Strengthen processes that help the Privacy Office work efficiently and consistently.
• Work independently within a small global Privacy Office while collaborating with legal, compliance, security, risk and audit teams.

Requirements

• Experience advising stakeholders on privacy assessments involving employee data, digital tools or new legal requirements.
• Experience providing practical GDPR advice on data subject rights, transparency, accountability and lawful handling of personal data.
• Experience creating clear privacy guidance, templates or standards in English for business stakeholders.
• Ability to turn privacy requirements into proportionate solutions while applying sound legal judgement.
• Clear communication skills, attention to important details and confidence working with senior colleagues.

Nice to have

• Experience applying privacy requirements to technology-related projects or IT contracts.
• Experience advising on employee data or employment privacy.
• Experience working with legal, digital compliance, digital security, physical security, internal risk or audit teams on privacy matters.
• Experience supporting a Data Protection Authority, Privacy Office, data protection function or privacy practice.
