Legal Counsel, IP & Brand Protection

Location: Copenhagen, Denmark; on-site, in-office position

hirify.global is a Copenhagen-based design company creating furniture and products for modern living, expanding its product portfolio and international presence.

What you will do

• Lead the in-house Legal function and report to the CFO.
• Develop and execute the global IP strategy across designs, trademarks and related rights.
• Review new products for IP risks and recommend protection before launch.
• Lead infringement, brand protection, negotiation and takedown matters, including international registrations and external counsel coordination.
• Draft, review and negotiate designer, licensing, royalty, supplier and other commercial agreements.
• Advise Product, Design, Marketing and Operations on consumer, marketing, contract and compliance matters.

Requirements

• Danish law degree and approximately 3–5 years or more of relevant legal experience.
• Solid experience with intellectual property, especially designs, trademarks and enforcement.
• Experience in a law firm, in-house environment or both.
• Ability to make recommendations, prioritise work and guide a junior colleague.
• Fluent English required. Danish-language proficiency is an advantage, not a requirement.
• Ability to work on-site from the Copenhagen office.
