Sr Social Media Specialist (Contract)

What you will do

• Shape the monthly social content strategy for Instagram, LinkedIn, and Facebook.
• Brief the creative team and write platform-specific posts, Stories, comments, and replies that encourage conversation.
• Build relationships with studio owners, salon professionals, consultants, creators, and prospective Mindbody customers.
• Lead the customer feature program, including story discovery and customer approvals.
• Guide Mindbody employees responding transparently to questions on Reddit and respecting community norms.
• Run an influencer test, manage creator partnerships and deliverables, and use engagement, sentiment, follower-growth, organic-lead, and AI-search insights to refine the approach.

Requirements

• 4+ years of experience managing social media for a brand, ideally in B2B or software for small businesses.
• Demonstrated success growing social accounts and creating meaningful conversations.
• Experience partnering with influencers or creators, including negotiating agreements and managing deliverables.
• Hands-on Reddit experience and respect for community expectations.
• Ability to adapt writing across Instagram, LinkedIn, and Reddit while maintaining Mindbody’s voice.
• Experience using Sprout Social or similar tools to manage channels, interpret performance, and inform decisions.

Nice to have

• Experience with AI search tools such as Peec, or a background in fitness, wellness, or beauty.
