Strategic Connectivity Manager (Starlink)

Location: Palo Alto, CA; other location: Bastrop, TX. Travel to other SpaceX offices and customer locations is required as needed, estimated at 25% annually, with possible surges. Extended hours and weekends may be required for critical milestones or operations shifts.

Base salary: $125,000–$195,000 annually for Level 3, with the actual level and salary determined based on job-related knowledge and skills, education, and experience.

What you will do

• Scale Starlink use in projects with significant positive social and economic impact, including connectivity initiatives for anchor institutions, refugee camps, development banks, and philanthropic efforts.
• Develop and execute strategies aligned with Starlink business goals and team objectives across the APAC, Middle East, and Central Asia region.
• Manage and grow capabilities that support projects of different sizes and complexity.
• Select, establish, and maintain relationships with influential individuals, philanthropic entities, non-governmental organizations, and development banks.
• Measure and report progress toward goals, creating new tracking methods when needed.
• Coordinate with market access, global operations, growth, sales, legal, finance, account management, and communications teams, and develop messaging about Starlink’s social and economic impact.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or business.
• 7+ years of experience in engineering or operations.
• 2+ years of project management experience.
• U.S. citizenship or nationality, U.S. lawful permanent residency, refugee or asylee status, or eligibility to obtain the required U.S. Department of State authorizations under ITAR requirements.
