QA Engineer

What you will do

• Define test strategies and plans, ensure compliance, and design, prepare, and execute test cases.
• Assess and implement test automation for cloud native applications.
• Manage defects, assign severity, verify fixes, and provide sign-off on tested features.
• Report test activities and milestone visibility while collaborating with Product Definition Analysts and Developers in an agile Scrum team.
• Mentor newcomers, support QA peers, and promote quality assurance best practices.
• Propose and implement quality process improvements, including measures to reduce the environmental impact of QA activities.

Requirements

• Master’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• At least 5 years of relevant experience in software functional testing, including manual and automated testing, based on ISTQB principles.
• Advanced technical knowledge and experience in test strategy, planning, and execution.
• Proficiency in test automation frameworks and tools.
• Strong defect management and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication skills for reporting and stakeholder interaction.
• Experience mentoring and supporting team members.
• Commitment to quality assurance best practices and continuous improvement.
