Senior QA Automation Engineer

Location: Barcelona, Spain; hybrid work with two days per week required in the office

What you will do

• Contribute to overall product quality by identifying, analyzing, reporting, and tracking defects.
• Build and maintain test automation frameworks and tools using modern approaches.
• Enable reliable front-end and back-end testing, including E2E, integration, and unit tests.
• Define testing strategies and ensure strong test data quality and coverage across teams and projects.
• Integrate quality practices throughout the development lifecycle and support optimal software performance.
• Coach teams, improve quality practices, maintain automated testing tools, and promote a quality-driven culture.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience as a QA Automation Engineer.
• Strong hands-on experience with E2E, integration, and unit test automation.
• Experience with Cypress or Playwright and the ability to define and implement testing strategies.
• Experience coaching, mentoring, or leading QA initiatives.
• Fluent English required.
• Communication, teamwork, proactivity, adaptability, and curiosity.

Nice to have

• Experience with mobile testing.
• ISTQB Test Automation certification.
