Junior QA Automation Engineer

Location: Hybrid, with on-site presence in Valencia 2–3 days per week

What you will do

• Develop, design, execute, and maintain automated test scripts for changing requirements and critical system features.
• Set up continuous integration, use CI/CD systems, and perform exploratory testing when needed.
• Create bug reports, investigate test failures, and verify fixes.
• Monitor automation coverage and identify automated versus manual features.
• Improve test automation frameworks, prioritize test scenarios, and create test execution plans.
• Document automated processes, test plans, and test cases.

Requirements

• University degree in Software Quality Assurance, Software Engineering, or a similar field.
• More than 2–3 years of professional experience in test automation.
• Strong programming skills in JavaScript, Python, or Java.
• Experience with test automation tools such as Tosca, Cypress, Ranorex, or similar tools.
• Proficiency with API testing tools such as REST Assured, Postman, or jMeter.
• Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools, including GitLab CI and GitLab, plus knowledge of defect tracking and test management tools such as JIRA and XRAY.
• Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and mobile testing frameworks.
• B2-level English proficiency and Spanish language skills.
• Availability to work on-site in Valencia 2–3 days per week.

• ISTQB Test Automation Engineer (CT-TAE) certification.
