Senior Data Engineer (Azure Databricks & DevOps)

Location: Remote; Qarshi, Uzbekistan. Working during US business hours is required.

What you will do

• Build and optimize data pipelines using Azure Databricks, Python, SQL, and PySpark.
• Develop ETL/ELT solutions on Azure Cloud.
• Implement DevOps and CI/CD practices for data engineering workflows.
• Maintain data quality through testing and monitoring.
• Provide production support and solve data engineering problems independently.
• Collaborate with an international team on a US-based project.

Requirements

• 3–6 years of professional experience, including senior-level data engineering experience.
• Strong hands-on experience with Azure Databricks, Python, SQL, and PySpark.
• Knowledge of Azure Cloud, ETL/ELT, and DevOps/CI/CD.
• Experience building and optimizing data pipelines.
• Understanding of data quality, testing, monitoring, and production support.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently.
• Advanced or fluent English and availability to work during US business hours.

• Experience with Terraform.
• Experience with enterprise data platforms.
• Experience with healthcare or financial data.
