Banking Support Manager (Fintech)

What you will do

• Support the establishment and ongoing management of relationships with banks, non-bank financial institutions, payment schemes, liquidity providers, and virtual asset service providers.
• Act as the day-to-day escalation point for internal teams on operational, transactional, and documentation matters, liaising with external partners to resolve issues.
• Complete application forms and KYC reviews for hirify.global entities opening accounts and maintaining partner relationships.
• Analyse transactional activity data and provide actionable insights to internal stakeholders.
• Support service reviews, track provider adherence to agreed SLAs, and maintain project management trackers for new banking provider and payment rail integrations.
• Work with other departments to track and resolve provider issues in a timely manner.

Requirements

• Understanding of payments and correspondent banking infrastructure.
• Experience completing EDD with bank and non-bank payment service providers for new relationships and periodic AML reviews, ideally gained in a banking function or first line of defence.
• Strong analytical skills and the ability to condense payments activity data into actionable insights.
• Knowledge of relationship management with internal and external stakeholders and the ability to work with cross-functional teams.
• Understanding of domestic and cross-border payment systems, including SEPA, FPS, CHAPS, SWIFT, ACH, and other local-market RTP schemes.
• Strong project management skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to take initiative, take ownership, and manage projects from start to finish.
• Professional ethics and integrity, sound judgement, prioritisation skills, adaptability, and the ability to learn quickly in a dynamic environment.
• Ability to handle challenging situations, collaborate as a team player, and understand the importance of compromise and relationships.
