DBA Administrator (DevOps)

Location: Hybrid in Aveiro or Porto, Portugal

What you will do

• Install, deploy, and configure database systems.
• Design and maintain high-availability architectures and replication technologies.
• Manage backup and recovery processes, performance tuning, and database troubleshooting.
• Work with containerization and orchestration using Docker and Kubernetes.
• Support Linux operating systems and virtualization solutions.
• Collaborate and communicate effectively across different teams.

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in software engineering or a similar field.
• DevOps engineering experience with strong database administration skills, including installation and deployment, configuration, high-availability architectures, replication technologies, backup and recovery, performance tuning, and troubleshooting.
• Familiarity with Docker and Kubernetes.
• Database management experience with Postgres, Oracle, and MongoDB.
• Knowledge of Linux operating systems and virtualization solutions.
• Good level of English.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
