Senior 3D Character Animator (Mobile, Unity)

What you will do

• Develop and animate combat movesets for Shadow Fight 4: Arena.
• Create animations for new fighting styles and refine existing animations.
• Provide feedback on team animations and help maintain animation guidelines and quality standards.
• Represent the animation team in pipeline and workflow discussions and help resolve critical issues.
• Work with motion capture.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in animation for games or film.
• Excellent proficiency in Maya for animation.
• Strong understanding of animation principles and body mechanics.
• Experience animating for fighting games or solid industry knowledge of fighting-game animation.
• Experience working with animation tools in Unity.
• Ability to provide feedback and set the animation vision for the project.
• Understanding of animation rigs and animation tools.
• Receptiveness to constructive criticism and an iterative development process.
• Strong communication skills, deep interest in and familiarity with video games, animated films, and cinema, and fluent Russian communication.

Nice to have

• Rigging and skinning experience.
• Art-related higher education.
