Tactical Planner (Semiconductor)

What you will do

• Schedule customer Sales Orders using product lead times, customer priorities, material availability, and MRP.
• Review and release Planned Production Orders to subcontractor planners and support quarterly revenue targets for assigned Business Units.
• Review and confirm new Sales Orders, update Promised Delivery Dates, and maintain planning tools with reasons for delays, pushouts, pull-ins, and other delivery-date changes.
• Assess material availability before committing products to shipment dates and respond to quotation requests, customer inquiries, pull-in requests, and priority orders.
• Resolve planning and execution issues affecting product completion or shipment, including urgent builds, escalated orders, priority lots, and hot lots.
• Coordinate with Production Control, Subcontractor Planning, Shipping, and Logistics teams to achieve production and delivery commitments and recommend recovery plans.

Requirements

• Graduate of BS Industrial Engineering with 2–3 years of experience in production control, preferably in the semiconductor industry, or equivalent related experience from the same industry.
• Graduates of other engineering courses with production planning and control experience are welcome to apply.
• Knowledge of the semiconductor or electronics industry.
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment and communicate effectively verbally and in writing.
• Honest, trustworthy, driven, analytical, and a fast learner.
• Knowledge of Microsoft applications, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
• Knowledge of ERP systems, preferably Microsoft Dynamics Axapta.
