Lead Site Reliability Engineer

What you will do

• Administer Oracle and PostgreSQL databases across production and non-production SaaS environments hosted primarily on AWS.
• Lead database resiliency, disaster recovery, migration, backup, replication, performance tuning, upgrades, and high-availability initiatives.
• Build and maintain reliable cloud infrastructure, automation, CI/CD pipelines, and modernized platform components.
• Support containerized applications and Kubernetes-based deployments.
• Collaborate with Development, Professional Services, and Client Support teams to improve platform stability and service performance.
• Perform troubleshooting, production support, scheduled maintenance, and on-call rotations.

Requirements

• 7–9 years of experience supporting cloud applications, platforms, and enterprise database environments.
• Strong hands-on experience administering Oracle and PostgreSQL, including backup and recovery, replication, performance tuning, upgrades, and high-availability configurations.
• Experience with AWS services including RDS, Aurora PostgreSQL, EC2, S3, CloudWatch, and IAM.
• Strong automation and scripting skills using Python, Go, Bash, PowerShell, Terraform, Ansible, Chef, Puppet, GitLab, or Concourse.
• Knowledge of Linux and Windows administration, cloud infrastructure, security principles, and networking concepts.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, communication, and collaboration skills, with the ability to adapt quickly and work effectively in fast-paced environments.
