QA Tester (Manual QA)

Location: Cebu, Philippines; onsite, 9:00 AM–6:00 PM, Monday–Friday

What you will do

• Analyze requirements and create, execute, review, and maintain manual test plans, test cases, checklists, and pre-launch QA sign-off documentation.
• Test WordPress, Shopify, and custom websites and web applications for functional, usability, performance, security, visual, responsive, mobile, cross-browser, and device compatibility.
• Validate forms, lead captures, navigation flows, e-commerce checkout processes, third-party integrations, SEO practices, WCAG accessibility, and website speed.
• Review Figma and Adobe XD files against developed pages to verify visual accuracy and layout fidelity.
• Identify, document, categorize, and track bugs and usability issues in ClickUp, including reproduction steps, screenshots, and video recordings; verify fixes and conduct regression testing.
• Collaborate with developers, designers, Team Leads, and Project Managers, escalating critical blockers before scheduled launches and recommending performance optimizations.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Engineering, or a related course.
• Hands-on manual QA experience with custom WordPress themes, custom plugins, Shopify stores, and web applications.
• Experience with cross-browser and mobile device testing tools, including BrowserStack and real mobile devices.
• Experience managing bug tickets, reporting issue statuses, and verifying fixes in ClickUp; experience with Jira, Trello, or Asana.
• Familiarity with manual and automated testing tools such as Selenium, BrowserStack, Lighthouse, and GTmetrix.
• Strong understanding of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript and their effect on website functionality; experience with cross-browser and responsive design testing.
• Knowledge of SEO, WCAG web accessibility standards, and web application security best practices.
• Ability to perform API testing; Postman and RESTful API testing are a plus.
• Strong problem-solving, attention to detail, communication, adaptability, flexibility, sense of urgency, and ability to work independently and with a team.
