Senior Decision Scientist (Frontend Technologies)

Location: Amsterdam, Netherlands. Hybrid work with 2 recommended office days per week. Remote workation is permitted for up to 90 days per year in the EU, including 21 days globally; non-EU citizens may work worldwide for up to 21 days.

Annual gross salary: €67,700–€91,500, excluding 8% holiday pay.

What you will do

• Define, implement, and track technical and behavioral metrics for frontend platforms across Android, iOS, and Web.
• Translate technical questions such as app crashes and rendering latency into structured business and behavioral analyses.
• Partner with engineering and design leaders during discovery to evaluate opportunities and establish decision criteria.
• Design, monitor, and analyze A/B tests for platform optimizations and refactoring.
• Collaborate with Engineering, Design, Analytics Engineering, and Decision Science teams to standardize analytical methods and tooling.

Requirements

• Experience in decision science, product analytics, or business intelligence, ideally in a technology product or platform-engineering environment.
• Advanced SQL and Python or R skills for querying and analyzing large, complex datasets.
• Strong knowledge of statistical methods, A/B testing, and analytical framing.
• Ability to communicate statistical findings and technical architectures through clear recommendations for technical and non-technical audiences.
• Ability to understand platform architectures, including caching, latency, and app-store release cycles.
• Pragmatic, proactive approach to prioritizing analytical work and business impact.

• Experience with Git and dbt.
