NOC Infrastructure Administrator (Linux/Windows)

Location: Remote role associated with Bucharest, Romania; rotating day, evening, night, weekend, and holiday shifts are required.

What you will do

• Provide operational support for a 24/7 NOC environment covering Linux and Windows production systems.
• Monitor, administer, maintain, and troubleshoot servers, applications, cloud infrastructure, and managed services.
• Perform backup, recovery, patch management, system monitoring, and scheduled-job checks.
• Manage Active Directory users, groups, policies, and Microsoft infrastructure services.
• Develop and maintain automation scripts, operating procedures, configuration records, and knowledge-base documentation.
• Manage incidents and lead shift operations when required.

Requirements

• 4+ years of Linux and Windows system administration experience in a production environment.
• Strong knowledge of Linux and Windows Server administration, system monitoring, and troubleshooting.
• Knowledge of DNS, TCP/IP, DHCP, IP networking, Active Directory, Group Policy, and Windows Security.
• Hands-on experience with AWS, Azure, VMware, or Hyper-V.
• Scripting experience with Bash, PowerShell, Python, or similar technologies, plus working knowledge of SQL and web server administration.
• Ability to work rotating day, evening, night, weekend, and holiday shifts in a 24/7 operation.

Nice to have

• Experience with enterprise monitoring and operational platforms such as Nagios, Datadog, Jira, or Salesforce.
• Experience managing incidents, documenting resolutions, and improving operational processes.
