Early Careers - Accounting Intern

Location: Chicago, Illinois, or Richardson, Texas, United States. Flex employees are expected to work from the office at least three days per week.

Base pay: $19.13–$34.17 per hour.

What you will do

• Assist with preparing and analyzing GAAP-basis financial statements.
• Research and document statutory and GAAP accounting positions.
• Support financial due diligence for potential investments and M&A transactions.
• Analyze data, develop recommendations, and own project deliverables with mentor and manager guidance.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and support initiatives improving business outcomes and member and client experience.
• Prepare and deliver a final internship presentation to department leadership.

Requirements

• Must be pursuing a bachelor’s degree and be a rising senior in accounting, finance, business, or another relevant major.
• Expected graduation between December 2027 and June 2028.
• Minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale.
• Unrestricted authorization to work in the United States is required; visa sponsorship is not available.
• Availability for the complete 10-week paid internship.
• Strong analytical, verbal, written, interpersonal, and PC skills, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Access, and Outlook.

• Prior related internship or work experience.
