Corporate Security and Identity Lead

Location: Bay Area; hybrid at the Pier 28 office in San Francisco a few days per week, with remote applicants in the USA considered

Base salary: $150,000–$200,000 per year, plus equity

hirify.global builds a real-time ocean sensor network, with Spotter buoys and software such as Wayfinder for voyage optimization, serving commercial shipping, government, and defense customers.

What you will do

• Own Google Workspace as the identity provider and implement SSO and SCIM provisioning across SaaS tools.
• Automate joiner, mover, and leaver processes and conduct periodic access reviews.
• Manage device management, MDM, EDR, endpoint compliance policies, and SIEM detection triage.
• Track remediation of Dependabot findings and penetration-test results, and maintain the incident response plan.
• Run SOC 2 and other compliance activities, including policies, audit evidence, vendor reviews, and compliance-platform operations.
• Lead customer security questionnaires and manage relationships with IT providers, security vendors, contractors, advisors, and auditors.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in IT systems, corporate security, or security engineering, ideally in a startup.
• Hands-on administration of Google Workspace, SSO/SCIM, MDM, and EDR tooling.
• Working knowledge of AWS IAM and scripting ability in Python or a similar language.
• Experience completing at least one SOC 2 or ISO 27001 audit from inside the organization.
• Clear, precise writing and the ability to make and defend practical security investment and risk decisions.
• Ability to work from the USA, with hybrid office attendance preferred in San Francisco.

Nice to have

• Experience with Vanta or Drata, AWS CloudFormation, or Auth0.
• Experience with SIEM detection engineering.
