What you will do

• Lead and mentor a high-performing engineering team.
• Own critical business areas of DynamoDB and contribute to the leadership team of the Dublin site.
• Drive technology decisions affecting millions of customers globally.
• Champion operational excellence for high-scale database services.
• Shape distributed database systems covering control plane, metadata, and continuous data protection capabilities.

Requirements

• Experience in engineering and in planning, designing, developing, and delivering consumer software.
• Experience partnering with product or program management teams.
• Experience managing multiple concurrent programs, projects, and development teams in an Agile environment.
• Experience managing engineering teams operating at scale and managing managers.
• Experience designing and developing large-scale, high-traffic applications.
