Quality and Safety Manager (Transportation)

Location: Dallas-Fort Worth, TX; in-person field work five days per week, including weekends

Salary: $21–23 per hour

What you will do

• Conduct on-the-road supervision, ride-alongs, and driver shadowing to ensure safety and service compliance.
• Monitor driver interactions and adherence to protocols, providing coaching and constructive feedback.
• Partner with the Field Manager to deliver initial, remedial, and refresher driver training.
• Lead post-accident and post-incident procedures as the Designated Employer Representative for DOT compliance.
• Resolve urgent operational issues in real time to maintain service continuity.
• Review complaints, driver feedback, training records, and training needs; implement improvements.

Requirements

• Experience in transit supervision, transportation management, or a similar field is preferred.
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to mentor and guide drivers.
• Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills in dynamic situations.
• Strong communication skills for feedback delivery and conflict resolution.
• Ability to perform approximately 85% on-the-road supervision and 15% training and administrative work.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of DOT regulations, safety standards, and ADA/paratransit compliance.
