Specialist, Systems Integration and Test Engineering (Aerospace)

What you will do

• Apply system integration and test engineering principles to complex payloads and space vehicles.
• Define requirements, architecture, integration and test approaches, and requirements flow-down across flight hardware and ground support equipment.
• Plan integration and test flows, participate in design reviews, and optimize the use of test assets and facilities.
• Develop detailed test plans and guide integration and test processes appropriate to program complexity.
• Provide technical management across electrical, mechanical, optical, thermal, software, systems, and hardware components.
• Support and lead system-level test execution, including TVAC, dynamic, EMI, and end-to-end electrical testing.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree and at least 4 years of relevant experience, or a graduate degree and at least 2 years of related experience.
• In lieu of a degree, at least 8 years of relevant experience.
• Background in systems, mechanical, electrical, optical, or thermal engineering.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a TS/SCI security clearance; security clearances may only be granted to U.S. citizens.
• Work schedule: 9/80.

Nice to have

• Technical leadership experience in systems integration and test.
• Experience integrating hardware and software systems or performing system-level TVAC, dynamic, EMI, electrical end-to-end, or space-vehicle integration and testing.
• Experience working with customers, business development, and cross-functional engineering disciplines.
• Understanding of integration and test development processes and lifecycles.
