Ground Execution Lead (Space Systems)

What you will do

• Advise Government Contracting Officer’s Representatives and Agreements Officer’s Representatives on acquisition planning, requirements, contracts, finance, risk, and stakeholder engagement.
• Drive closure of Proliferated Warfighter Space Architecture ground segment requirements across communications, development, test, integration, hardware, and software components.
• Track requirements, interfaces, integration touchpoints, milestones, transitions to operations, and system closure.
• Coordinate troubleshooting and physical and virtual transition of the ground segment into operations.
• Ensure documentation, infrastructure, operational environments, workstations, licensing, and displays are configured and functioning correctly.
• Support mission operations and CONOPS execution while applying systems engineering and proactive problem-solving.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in science, technology, engineering, or mathematics.
• At least 10 years of experience with satellite and ground systems.
• Technical and analytical understanding of satellite and ground-system interaction.
• Strong experience with Department of War acquisitions planning and execution, contract types, FAR/DFARS compliance, and supplier or subcontractor oversight.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Active TS clearance required; must be able to obtain and maintain SCI eligibility.

Nice to have

• Master’s degree in STEM or a related discipline.
• 15 years of experience with satellite and ground systems.
