Stop Loss Claims Support

Location: Minneapolis, Minnesota; 100% remote within the United States or hybrid from major Voya office locations

Annual base salary: $45,180–$75,300 USD

What you will do

• Review complex claims and related situations, make judgment-based decisions, and provide direction on excess risk claims.
• Respond to claim and reporting inquiries from managers, brokers, general agents, and administrators.
• Direct, train, and mentor less experienced claims staff, including completing audits and providing feedback.
• Manage claim suspense accounts, financial reporting, controls, and mid-policy and year-end audits.
• Support process improvement initiatives and participate in department and company projects.
• Perform stop loss claims systems testing and other assigned duties.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• 3–5 years of claims or insurance experience.
• Knowledge of industry-related claims systems and practices.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including macros, pivot tables, and formulas.
• Analytical, problem-solving, interpersonal, negotiation, written communication, and oral communication skills.
• Demonstrated leadership skills and attention to detail.
