Principal Cisco Engineer III - Top Secret Clearance Required

What you will do

• Design, deploy, test, certify, patch, and troubleshoot network infrastructure across data center environments.
• Configure and support switches, firewalls, load balancers, LAN, WAN, VLAN, SDN, private cloud, bare-metal, and virtual machine networking.
• Provision networking for servers, applications, IaaS, and cloud services while improving availability, redundancy, resilience, and security.
• Monitor network and application performance, resolve bottlenecks, provide final-tier support, and develop recovery and proactive remediation processes.
• Develop automation scripts, dashboards, reporting, system management tools, and technical documentation.
• Coordinate with vendors, IT personnel, developers, and government staff on troubleshooting, upgrades, knowledge transfer, and solution design.

Requirements

• Active Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility is required at the time of application.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a CI Polygraph is required.
• At least six years of relevant experience in enterprise-level network engineering.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred; one year of experience may substitute for each year of education.
• CCNA must be obtained within six months of starting the role.
• Ability to work onsite in Pocatello four days per week.

Nice to have

• CCNP or DevNet Associate certification.
• Experience with Cisco ACI, Multi-Site Orchestrator, Network Assurance Engine, NSO, Nexus Insights, or DNAC.
