Senior Software Engineer (Knowledge Graph)

Location: Remote from the East Coast, United States

Salary: $170,000–$210,000 base salary per year, plus company bonus.

What you will do

• Design and develop microservices within a fault-tolerant, scalable, cloud-native distributed architecture.
• Build and maintain software for the Identity Graph and Identity Manager platform.
• Analyze, debug, and resolve production issues while participating in technical design discussions and RFC reviews.
• Own features end to end, from system design and implementation through maintenance.
• Mentor engineers, participate in code reviews, and drive technical decisions.
• Participate in the on-call rotation and support the Owner/Helper project model.

Requirements

• 6+ years of professional software development experience.
• Strong object-oriented programming skills; Java is highly preferred, with experience in Go and/or Java.
• Experience designing event-driven, robust, and scalable solutions for complex technical problems.
• Hands-on experience with AWS, GCP, or Azure.
• Proficiency with SQL and Postgres, plus NoSQL design experience with DynamoDB.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, a quantitative field, or equivalent practical experience.

Nice to have

• Experience with Kafka and Flink.
• Ability to influence technical direction and long-term architecture.
• Experience building automated test frameworks and CI/CD pipelines.
• Familiarity with AI and machine learning integrations.
