Senior Product Cybersecurity Engineer – Edge & IoT – R&D (Industrial IoT/Edge Computing): Designing and implementing secure-by-design cybersecurity architectures for Edge-to-Cloud products with an accent on PKI, mTLS, TPM, secure boot, secrets management, and software supply chain security. Focus on validating complex security solutions, integrating DevSecOps practices, and supporting compliance across embedded devices, edge servers, cloud services, and software delivery processes.
Location: Hybrid, Sorocaba, Sao Paulo, Brazil

What you will do
- Design and implement secure-by-design cybersecurity architectures for Edge-to-Cloud products.
- Develop proof-of-concepts and validate cybersecurity technologies for embedded devices, edge servers, and cloud services.
- Architect PKI, certificate authority, mTLS, authentication, authorization, TPM, secure boot, encryption, and secrets management solutions.
- Integrate security into infrastructure, CI/CD pipelines, software delivery processes, and DevSecOps practices.
- Lead threat modeling, penetration testing, vulnerability assessments, security architecture reviews, and software supply chain security.
- Support regulatory compliance and produce security documentation, vulnerability reports, and engineering standards.
Requirements
- 8+ years of experience designing and implementing cybersecurity solutions for software products.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
- Experience securing Linux, embedded systems, and Industrial IoT platforms from concept through deployment.
- Knowledge of PKI, X.509 certificates, certificate authorities, mTLS, TPM 2.0, secure boot, hardware roots of trust, cryptography, and secrets management.
- Experience with Ubuntu or Yocto Linux, secure SDLC, threat modeling, OWASP, penetration testing, SBOM, vulnerability management, Docker, Kubernetes, and cloud platforms.
- Fluent English required.
Nice to have
- Industrial IoT, Edge Computing, critical infrastructure, or Operational Technology experience.
- Embedded device security for Linux, ThreadX, or bare-metal systems.
- Knowledge of IEC 62443, NERC CIP, or the EU Cyber Resilience Act.
- Experience with HashiCorp Vault, Azure or AWS security services, GitHub Advanced Security, Sigstore, or SLSA.
- Master’s degree and experience with Jira, Confluence, Platform Engineering, or DevOps collaboration.
