Product Engineer (Aerospace)

Location: Onsite in Buffalo, New York, United States

Salary: $80,000–$100,000 annually

What you will do

• Own assigned electromechanical actuator products from development through production and ongoing sustainment.
• Serve as the technical focal point for flight simulation products and resolve technical issues across the product lifecycle.
• Lead product and production investigations, perform root cause analysis, and implement corrective actions.
• Evaluate and implement engineering changes while maintaining configuration management and product documentation.
• Collaborate with manufacturing, quality, supply chain, program management, suppliers, customers, and multiple engineering disciplines.
• Drive improvements in product quality, reliability, manufacturability, and production efficiency.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical, electrical, aerospace, systems engineering, or a related engineering discipline.
• At least three years of experience in product engineering, manufacturing engineering, design engineering, systems engineering, or a related technical role.
• Experience with electromechanical systems, motion control, actuators, automation, industrial equipment, aerospace, or related engineered products is preferred.
• Knowledge of root cause analysis, corrective actions, continuous improvement, engineering change management, and configuration control is preferred.
• Familiarity with control systems, electronics, circuit analysis, or motion control technology is preferred.
• The position requires access to U.S. export-controlled information.
