Senior Embedded AI Engineer (Automotive)

Location: Novi Sad, Serbia. Other location: Belgrade. A valid visa and work permit to work in Serbia are required at the application stage.

What you will do

• Develop and maintain embedded software and BSP components.
• Perform board bring-up and integrate software on embedded hardware.
• Deploy, integrate, and run AI/ML models and supporting software on embedded targets.
• Debug hardware-software and system issues, analyze system behavior, and identify performance improvements.
• Own technical tasks independently from development through validation.

Requirements

• 4+ years of embedded software development experience.
• BSc or MSc in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or an equivalent field.
• Experience deploying AI/ML models on embedded hardware.
• Understanding of SoC and MCU architectures, embedded platforms, operating systems, embedded Linux, and low-level software concepts.
• Experience with board bring-up and BSP development, plus strong programming skills.
• Valid visa and work permit to work in Serbia required.

Nice to have

• Linux kernel or driver development experience.
• Automotive software development experience.
• Experience with embedded-system performance analysis or optimization.
