Vulnerability Management Manager (Cybersecurity)

Location: Virtual, United States. Applicants must already be authorized to work in the United States and must not require visa sponsorship now or in the future.

Total compensation: up to $193,869, inclusive of base salary and bonus.

What you will do

• Lead vulnerability management engineers and coordinate workloads, priorities, and technical guidance.
• Identify, track, prioritize, and drive infrastructure and application vulnerabilities through remediation.
• Partner with application, infrastructure, security operations, vendor management, and risk teams to reduce exposure.
• Analyze threat intelligence, attack techniques, vulnerability findings, network traffic, and security events to support risk-based prioritization.
• Develop vulnerability metrics, executive reporting, procedures, training materials, and repeatable remediation processes.
• Represent vulnerability management during incident calls and support after-hours and weekend on-call rotations.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• 6+ years of relevant IT or cybersecurity experience, including 5+ years with vulnerability management tools such as Qualys, Symantec, or Nessus.
• 3+ years of experience with SIEM platforms and 3+ years analyzing adversary tactics and techniques using MITRE ATT&CK.
• Knowledge of ISO 27001, NIST CSF, NIST SP 800-53, PCI DSS ASV, and BOD 26-04.
• Strong communication, analytical, organizational, troubleshooting, and cross-functional coordination skills.
• United States work authorization is required; visa sponsorship is not available.

Nice to have

• CompTIA Security+, CISSP, GIAC, or GCIH certification.
• Experience with cloud security, SaaS vulnerability management, URL filtering, web proxies, packet analysis, and network security controls.
• Experience preparing executive presentations, dashboards, risk metrics, and management reporting.
• Demonstrated improvements in remediation timelines and sustained reductions in organizational risk.
