Lead EDD (Fintech)

Location: Paris, France; hybrid workplace

What you will do

• Lead daily EDD production by organizing workloads, monitoring incoming cases, backlog and output, and establishing KPIs.
• Provide second opinions, four-eyes checks and guidance on complex investigations, risk assessments and high-risk escalations.
• Improve customer-profile reviews, quality standards, workflows and handoffs with KYC/KYB and Operations.
• Coach and develop EDD team members, support onboarding and step into production during workload spikes.
• Monitor AI-assisted EDD activity and coordinate improvements and bug fixes with Security.

Requirements

• Hands-on experience in KYC, AML, EDD or related financial-crime operations.
• Expertise in applying KYC/KYB and AML/CFT requirements to complex customer profiles, verifying sources and documenting conclusions.
• Experience organizing production work, prioritizing cases, monitoring backlogs and using KPIs.
• Ability to guide colleagues, provide practical feedback and support the growth of a relatively junior or new team.
• Clear stakeholder communication, customer focus and sound judgment under pressure.
• Fluent English and French required.
