IS/IT Operations/Systems Specialist (L2)

Location: Lviv, Ukraine; work mode: On-site / Hybrid; working hours: Monday–Friday, 09:00–18:00 EEST

What you will do

• Handle L2 escalations involving hardware, software, operating systems, access, connectivity, and corporate resources.
• Administer Windows environments, Microsoft 365, Active Directory, Entra ID, user permissions, group policies, and authentication.
• Configure and troubleshoot endpoints, applications, operating systems, remote management tools, and network services.
• Monitor availability, performance, and security; coordinate updates, patching, deployments, backups, and recovery processes.
• Perform root-cause analysis, document technical solutions, and improve infrastructure reliability and business continuity.
• Support L1 IT specialists, collaborate on infrastructure improvements, and coordinate with vendors and service providers.

Requirements

• At least 2 years of experience in IT operations, system administration, infrastructure support, or a comparable L2 role.
• Practical experience administering Windows environments, Microsoft 365, Active Directory or Entra ID, user accounts, permissions, and access management.
• Good understanding of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPNs, VLANs, firewalls, endpoint management, software deployment, patching, and remote administration.
• Knowledge of system monitoring, backup and recovery, information security, access control, root-cause analysis, and technical documentation.
• Strong analytical thinking, ownership, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
• English proficiency at B2 level or higher.

Nice to have

• Experience with Microsoft Intune or other MDM solutions, virtualization, cloud services, scripting, or automation.
• Knowledge of Linux administration and PowerShell.
