Safety And Security Manager (Aviation)

What you will do

• Develop and maintain the Safety Management System and promote effective safety reporting.
• Lead safety risk assessments, hazard identification, change management, investigations, and risk-register updates.
• Prepare safety meetings, reports, bulletins, training, and regulatory submissions.
• Maintain security standards, conduct threat assessments, and coordinate responses for high-risk flights and passengers.
• Liaise with governments, airport authorities, law enforcement agencies, OEMs, vendors, and internal stakeholders.
• Develop security procedures, training, contingency plans, and reports on unlawful interference and security occurrences.

Requirements

• 4–6+ years of overall experience, including 3+ years in a managerial aviation role.
• Experience in aviation safety, security, compliance, or quality control, including air carrier operations and complex projects.
• Strong knowledge of safety management principles, including EASA, ICAO, and IOSA.
• Experience with Safety and Security Management Systems, risk management, SMS software, data analysis, and statistics.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree.
• Fluent spoken and written English required.

Nice to have

• Experience with ICAO/IATA security training.
