Senior AI Engineer (LLM & Edge AI)

Location: Novi Sad, Serbia. Candidates must have a valid visa and work permit to work in Serbia.

What you will do

• Design, develop, and optimize AI solutions based on large language models and vision-language models.
• Contribute to AI system architecture, technical design, proof-of-concepts, and product development.
• Fine-tune models for specific use cases and evaluate accuracy, latency, and resource utilization.
• Develop AI agents with modern agentic frameworks and integrate MCP tools into agent workflows.
• Deploy and optimize models on embedded and edge computing platforms.
• Provide technical guidance to less experienced engineers and follow emerging AI technologies.

Requirements

• BSc or MSc in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Software Engineering, Artificial Intelligence, or a related field.
• 4+ years of relevant professional experience and strong programming skills.
• Good understanding of machine learning, deep learning, AI system design, and software engineering practices.
• Hands-on experience with LLMs, VLMs, or other generative AI systems, including model fine-tuning and evaluation.
• Experience with PyTorch, TensorFlow, Hugging Face, or similar AI frameworks; agentic AI frameworks; and MCP tools.
• Valid visa and work permit to work in Serbia required.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of model optimization and edge AI deployment.
• Linux experience and familiarity with multimodal AI systems.
• Embedded systems experience, especially AI model deployment and performance optimization.
• Mentoring or technical guidance experience.
